2013 has started off to be our best year yet! Our kick-off event, Easter Jeep Safari, came with a lot of planning and went with a several awesome events and tons of visitors!
The week started with the Full-Traction/Bushwacker/Superchips Rock 10 event which is open to everyone and the first 75 people received a complimentary Texasmoke Bbq lunch. The 4th Annual CRAWL Reader’s Ride sponsored by Yukon Gear & Axle and Essentially Offroad on Tuesday was a hit as it had been in past years! We had about 300 rigs by 12 noon and it was great for people to wheel with their favorite companies and TV personalities like Ian Johnson. We finished the first half of the week with BFGoodrich, Raceline Wheels, and Rancho/Dynomax for their media event on Wednesday. The rest of the week included night wheeling on Thursday, racers pre-running on Friday, and the week culminated with the DirtRiot race on Saturday! There was a huge crowd of spectators and the racers put on a great show. All in all it was a great week and there’s no doubt that having the best weather of any Jeep Safari in the last 10 years made it even better!
We have a busy Spring/Summer event season coming up with events including the Bronco Safari, Cruise Moab, Rally on the Rocks, goneMoab, Rock Therapy, and finally The Roots of the Rocks(music festival).

JANUARY 8, 2013 – Epic Addictions and AreaBFE announced today that Epic Addictions of Fresno California has signed on as an Official Sponsor of the AreaBFE Off Road Park near Moab Utah. Epic Addictions will be designated as the “Official Off Road Addict” for 2013 and will work closely with the group that established the park in 2004 to ensure the private land remain open to all, 365 days a year. In addition to helping promote AreaBFE’s world class venue year-round, Epic Addictions plans to be on site for the annual Easter Jeep Safari. Epic Addictions will make an official check presentation at this event amongst many of their industry peers, customers, and alliance partners.
Epic Addictions owner, Jeremy Ealand stated, “AreaBFE, its managing members and sponsors have proven for almost a decade that through hard work and with the support of industry leaders, off-road recreational parks on privately owned land are a viable option. We are committed to preserving these activities for the OHV community and honored to join the ranks of off road organizations such as BF Goodrich Tires, Superchips, Full-Traction Suspension, MasterPull and Superior Axle & Gear! to help promote those recreational activities.” Jeremy went on to say, “Responsible, reasonable and respectful land use is critical to continued access. Land use policies clearly represent the biggest threat to our industry and the advocacy work AreaBFE is doing will be critical in that fight.”
“We are honored that Epic Addictions has stepped up to support our efforts here at AreaBFE!” said Olaf Kilthau, Managing Member at AreaBFE. Olaf went on to say, “We host numerous events throughout the year, catering to variety of vehicle makes, and Epic Addictions’ pledge to AreaBFE helps to keep our land open and accessible for them everyday. Our team is excited to leverage this partnership and we are sure everyone that has a chance to bring their vehicles to AreaBFE will benefit from this relationship.”
AreaBFE is a 320 acre recreational park that facilitates many different outdoor activities. The park was developed by a group of guys who had a vision in 2004; “Create a place where people could go without the threat of being kicked-off of a fun little playground and insure that people will always have a place to recreate!” Since then, the AreaBFE staff and volunteers have been working to make trails, camping areas and many other fun destination points on the property. This project has reassured faith in the OHV community and the values these people hold close to their hearts. Learn more about AreaBFE at AreaBFE.com
