We had 2 corporate customer appreciation events where we led their trail rides and provided a Texasmoke bbq catered lunch: “The Rock 9” hosted by Superior Axle & Gear – Full Traction Suspension – Bushwacker Body Gear and Superchips on Monday. Then the Dynomax Performance Exhaust – Rancho Suspension – Bestop – BFGoodrich Tires event on Wednesday where in addition to their guided trail ride and catered lunch, we brought in a masseuse to relax those tense trail muscles.

CRAWL Magazine hosted their 3rd Annual Reader’s Ride on Tuesday and it was awesome with about 400 rigs in attendance by lunchtime!!!

We had vendors on site for people to hang out with, Texasmoke bbq for people to grub on, and lots of trails for people to enjoy. We can’t thank CRAWL enough for getting people to come out and experience AreaBFE. We look forward to continuing to work with them on their pro-access land use efforts.

Thursday and Friday were just like any other fun day in sun at AreaBFE with the exception of Night Wheeling both nights and pre-running for Saturday’s race on Friday morning! Saturday’s WeRock/Dirt Riot race was our first race in 6 years and it was very well attended! The weather was gorgeous and we had approximately 800 attendees plus racers and their support. Attendees said that it was great to have a race again at AreaBFE and the response from the racers was that they found the course to be tougher than expected. We liked both of those responses and we’re already talking about how to make it a better show for next year!

The staff at AreaBFE would like to thank members from Moab Friends-for-Wheelin’ and the Grand Mesa Jeep Club for all of their efforts in establishing new trails and installing our new signage. 4/8 Sunday – Day wheeling/clean up

We’ll be selling our NEW 2012 DESIGN Apparel this year at the gate. $15 for short sleeve tshirts, $20 for long sleeve and $45 for embroidered hoodies. We’ll also have AreaBFE embroidered beenies $20, caps $25, and women’s tanks $15!!!.

Texasmoke will be out there once again selling their awesome BBQ.  They’re offering:

Pulled pork sandwiches $6,  Brisket sandwiches $8,  Cowboy beans $1, Potato salad $1, Chips $1, Sodas $1

Camping will be allowed in the lower parking lot. Camping spaces beyond Friday will be limited in order to make room for the race on Saturday. Campers may come and go but will not be able to wheel during Monday’s private event until after 4pm.

We will be asking for donations once again, and selling tickets for our Giveaway on Saturday April 7th!!! You don’t have to be present.

We will have potable drinking water on site, porta-potties, and trash facilities all week.

JANUARY 20, 2012 – Today Superchips announced that they have signed as an Official Sponsor of the AreaBFE Off Road Park outside Moab, UT. Superchips will be designated as the “Official Programmer” for 2012 and will work closely with the group that established the park in 2004 to ensure the private land remain open to all, 365 days a year. In addition to helping promote AreaBFE’s world class venue year-round, Superchips plans to be on site for the annual Easter Jeep Safari and will be co-hosting a customer appreciation event at AreaBFE with Superior Axle&Gear and Full Traction Suspension. Superchips will make an official check presentation at this event amongst many of their industry peers, customers, and alliance partners.

The announcement is another exciting piece of news for the off road community as Superchips continues to support enthusiast groups, and corresponding organizations and venues, that work to ensure private land is protected and wheeled upon responsibly.
